Using KDL in a Vsual Studio C# Application

Hi,

I am new at this forum.

I have two questions:

How can I unpacking the ..tar.bz2 - files at windows?
Is it possible to use the KDL-lib in a Visual Studio C# Application?

thanks

I've got the same question, basicly. Any changes on behalf of C# since?

My goal is visualizing KDL to iron out a hexapod locomotion engine. Currently my eye is on C# / XNA, but there must be better options...

Suggestions to any means to visualize KDL are welcome, thanks!

update:
I found that RoboView seems appropriate: http://www9.cs.tum.edu/~kleinehe/roboview.html (found via http://eris.liralab.it/wiki/KDL-simple )

Could anyone pitch me a howto? How to apply that patch, what requirements exist (interpreter, compiler, platform?), or how to start developing, for example.

We interface to Blender for that purpose (www.blender.org).

KDL is C++, so you should try the C++ bindings for C#. I fear that nobody
in this forum has ever tried this...
